• Fever
• Bloody diarrhoea
• Eight or more unformed stools in the previous 24 hours
• Occult blood or leucocytes in the stool

-Xifaxan 200 mg may shorten the duration of diarrhoea when this is associated with non-invasive strains of E. Coli
